The jury
Katie Moore
Katie left her home town in the south of England to work a ski season and never went back. Now an award winning filmmaker and producer, she has an in-depth knowledge of the outdoor industry. Having adopted Chamonix as her home over twenty years ago, she provides production services and created documentaries under her company Yak Media.
Monica Dalmasso
Trained at the Ecole Nationale Louis Lumière in Paris, Monica spent several years on the French climbing team before devoting herself exclusively to photography. Her quest for the perfect movement, her work on extreme sports (climbing, mountaineering, ice climbing) and her unique perspective on the relationship between humans and nature have allowed her to work in a wide variety of fields (concept, advertising, NGOs, reporting, art galleries, etc.).
Serge Hazanavicius
At the age of thirty, Serge landed his first leading role in a film and decided to treat himself to a gift: he joined the Stages Vallençant theatre company and met Stéphane Dan. Alongside his rich career as an actor, director, producer and writer for both stage and screen, Serge has been skiing with Stéphane for over 25 years. They made a feature film set mainly in the high mountains, which ends at the summit of Everest.
