The spirit of the festival is one of encounter and exchange. Before or after the film screenings, we invite you to join us for moments of encounter, sharing and learning, all free of charge, to immerse yourself in the mountain culture so dear to the Chamonix Valley.
From Wednesday 11 to Saturday 14 June, head to the Galerie du Café des Aiguilles, at Emily’s, at 3.30pm, in the company of Pascale Farges-Prudhomme, for literary encounters with authors invited to the festival. It’s always a very warm and welcoming occasion.
A pop-up bookshop will be on site every day for the encounters.
PlanB workshops
A highly convivial venue that has become a must-visit in Chamonix.
PlanB has been the festival’s base camp for the past five years. Guests stay here, and we meet up for breakfasts that turn into large impromptu gatherings. The venue was designed to host meetings in cosy lounges. This is where our various workshops take place.
Apéros/dinner at the Maison des Artistes
From Wednesday 11 to Saturday 14 June, head to this historic location in Chamonix, whose terrace offers the perfect space to gather for festive aperitifs and light dining before the screenings begin at 8.30pm.
From 6pm until 8.30pm.
After the screenings, it’s time for a debrief! Join us at the Bistrot des Cristalliers, along with the guests and festival team, to take the time to discuss the day’s events or simply get to know each other!
