We are delighted (and honoured) to welcome Benjamin Védrines, one of the world’s top alpinists, as patron of the 5th edition. His list of climbing achievements is unrivalled, especially his ascent of K2 in less than 11 hours in the summer of 2024, followed by the first paragliding take-off from the mountain.

Benjamin will be with us throughout the festival, and will also present his latest film, about the exceptional winter he has just had in the Écrins with his climbing partner Nicolas Jean. Directed by Jérémie Chenal, the film also features painter Jean-Marc Rochette, a passionate observer of Benjamin’s exploits.
