Living in Antarctica – Daphné Buiron
Galerie Café des Aiguilles
Wednesday, Jun 11 2025 – 15:30 pm
In this book, published by Transboréal, Daphné Buiron recounts her extraordinary experience of spending the winter in Adélie Land. It is a poetic account and reflection on life in the extreme conditions of Antarctica and within the confines of a polar base.
Daphne Buiron is a glaciologist, research engineer and coordinator of scientific campaigns. She is passionate about ecopoetics and environmental philosophy, with a constant focus on the quality of communication, mediation and the popularisation of her knowledge.
An undoubtedly exciting encounter.
