We are fortunate to have with us the American mountaineer and writer Cory Richards. Climber, filmmaker, and traveler, his latest book, The Colour of Everything, published in the Guérin collection by Éditions Paulsen, is one of the literary events of 2025 in the mountaineering world.

Cory is not only an exceptional mountaineer, but he has received numerous awards for his writing and reporting. With moving sincerity, he speaks of the illness that has plagued him for many years. His life of adventure conceals another, darker side: a long struggle to maintain a fragile balance in his mental health. This is the central theme of his book.
